P1: produce a proposal for the original media product to meet the client brief
Brief:
The client for this production is "Cambridge City Council." They have requested a video promoting Cambridge as a city and highlighting its cultural diversity and acceptance. This is to be done to a high quality standard as it it to be presented at this years "Culture Awards."
Client From researching Cambridge city council, I have found that they are happy with filming in and around Cambridge, and even welcome it. There are a few responsibilities that they list on the site for film makers e.g:

Final Cut Pro is the software I will be using for video editing, which will include putting the shots in sequence, adding transitions, filters, the title card, etc. Logic Pro X is the software that I will be using for capturing and manipulating the voiceover audio, which I will then add to the video. this software is typically used for music recording and composition, but it works equally well for voice capture allowing adjustment of levels and including built in effects such as echo, reverb, etc. |
